About Jo

Jo is a registered Occupational Therapist who has over 30 years experience in paediatric Occupational Therapy in a variety of community settings, including homes, preschools, schools, early intervention services and community health.

Jo also has a Certificate III in Children’s Services and has worked in a community preschool, other early childhood education programs including supported early intervention programs for over 20 years.

Jo is a registered facilitator of Circle of Security Parenting™ and is available to run courses as requested.

Jo has a passion for supporting young children and their families to identify all their strengths and support them in their individual journeys and goals. She strongly believes in the rights of a child to play and develop in a safe and nourishing environment.

Jo acknowledges the day-to-day challenges every family has. We use evidence-based practices to support and coach parents, carers and educators in their daily routines and activities to best support their child’s development and inclusion in early childhood education services.

Jo’s experience and understanding of early childhood education results in collaborative approaches with families and their child’s educators. She thrives in working in a team environment to be able to focus on specific goals for every child and their family.
